CNC Software Inc. announces the release of Mastercam X2 Maintenance Release 2. This release introduces new capabilities, including new and improved toolpaths, block drill enhancements and more. A new 2-D toolpath lets users create saw toolpaths more easily and with fewer operations than before, the company says. Users now have the option to define horizontal drilling stations in the Machine Definition as aggregates or block drill stations. Common edge optimization in nesting is now supported.
