WMS 2025 preview video: Sugatsune vertical swing mechanisms

TORONTO — Sugatsune will showcase a pair of vertical swing mechanisms for smooth opening and closing of tall, heavy doors at the Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo, November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre.

The SLUL is a vertical swing lift-up mechanism whiles the SLDL is a vertical swing down mechanism.

Key features of each of the vertical swing products include:

  • Integrated soft-close mechanism to prevent slamming
     
  • Spring-assisted opening after pulling the door forward 4-3/4" to 5-15/16" (120–150 mm)
     
  • Adjustable lift-assist feature to fine-tune opening force based on door size and weight
     
  • Easy-access maintenance and 3-way adjustability:
     • Vertical: ±1/4" (6 mm)
     • Horizontal: ±1/8" (2.5 mm)
     • Tilt: ±5º
