TORONTO — CCI Canada announced strong industry enthusiasm for the upcoming Woodworking Machinery & Supply Conference and Expo (WMS) 2025, to be held November 12-14 at the Toronto Congress Centre. The optimism follows the results of a recent attendee survey, which showed that a vast majority of respondents plan to attend Canada’s national woodworking event.
The one-question survey asked past attendees, “Are you planning to attend WMS, Canada’s only woodworking show and conference, at the Congress Centre in Toronto November 12-14?”
The results show a high level of commitment and interest from the woodworking community:
- 70.7% responded “Yes,” they plan to attend.
- 18.6% responded “Maybe,” they will attend.
- 10.7% responded “No,” they do not plan to attend.
A key finding from the survey was that the number one reason for a "No" response was "retired," further strengthening expectations for a high turnout of active, engaged industry professionals.
“The feedback from our community is incredibly encouraging,” said Tim Fixmer, CEO of CCI Canada. “The strong 'Yes' and 'Maybe' responses confirm that the industry is ready to reconnect and do business, and we are confident that the new venue and November dates will provide the perfect setting for a highly successful event.”
The “Will You Attend” survey was sent via email to past WMS attendees. The survey yielded a margin of error of 5.5% at a 95% confidence level.
WMS is Canada’s only national woodworking event, bringing together industry leaders, manufacturers, and suppliers to showcase the latest innovations in machinery, technology, and supplies. This year's conference will feature a wide range of educational sessions and opportunities for networking and collaboration.
