Watch craftsmen use wooden contraptions to make $40,000 Swedish carpet
carpet-production-1.jpg
In a small Swedish town, a group of craftsmen and women create high-end handmade carpet in a sophisticated workshop.

In what appears to be a highly-technical craft, artisans have been making carpet at the shop since 1919. Their work is in such high demand that pieces have been sold for as much as $40,000.

The video, from Bloomberg, is part of a series of short films that demonstrate how everyday luxury objects are made, and honor the process and artisans behind them.
