Eco to the Rescue - Hurricane Sandy
Eco to the Rescue - Hurricane Sandy

Why are so many Americans using carefully allocated fundraising and Government money only to rebuild with the same unprotected lumber, and no new technology; it's as if everyone thinks there will not be another Sandy super storm for another hundred years. Quoted in Mayor Bloomberg's address on shaping New York's future after Hurricane Sandy, this was delivered on the morning of Dec. 6 at the New York Marriott Downtown: The eighth paragraph stated;

"Let me be clear: we are not going to abandon the waterfront. We are not going to leave the Rockaways or Coney Island or Staten Island's South Shore. But we cannot just rebuild what was there and hope for the best. We have to build smarter, stronger and more sustainable."

"I'm excited to hold our first educational presentation introducing ECOB's 'Hurricane Breakaway Foundation Platform.' This new platform represents the epitome of the newest in high wind load engineering, and we are determined to start spreading the news. New technologies like Eco Red Shield Lumber are now being used to rebuild homes on Long Island, and it's available to anyone currently in the rebuilding process," stated Steve Conboy, President/CEO of Eco Building Products, Inc.
