Woodworking machinery manufacturer Michael Weinig AG has named Wolfgang Pöschl as its new chairman of the Management Board.

NURTIGEN, GERMANY -- Holz-Her, a manufacturer of wood panel processing machines and the newest member of the Weinig Group, has a new logo.

MOORESVILLE, NC - Weinig completed its two-day Technology Expo, April 29-30, celebrating its recent acquisition of Holz-Her and introducing Jason Howell as new president of Weinig North America.

MOORESEVILLE, NC - Holz-Her U.S. will move from Charlotte, NC, to Weinig's North American headquarters in Mooresville as part of the first phase of the "integration strategy" following Weinig's recent purchase of Holz-Her.

Weinig USA officials said they were pleased with the outcome of its two-day “Race to Recovery” Technology Expo, held April 29-30.

Weinig AG CEO Walter Fahrenschon announced that Jason Howell has been appointed president of the company's North American subsidiary.

TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, GERMANY – Weinig AG announced that Holz-Her came under its ownership effective April 1. Holz-Her will be managed as an independent brand within the Weinig Group with its products CNC, edgebanding machines, pressure beam saws and vertical panel saws. “This step allows both companies to consolidate their global market presence with innovative products and services for wood processing,” Weinig said in a press release posted on its corporate Web site.

TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, GERMANY - Weinig AG said it is close to finalizing an agreement to acquire Holz-Her. According to a press release posted on the Weinig's corporate Web site, “Subject to the successful conclusion of negotiations and approval by the Weinig AG board of directors, Holz-Her is expected to trade as an independent brand within the Weinig Group with effect from April 1, 2010, continuing the firm’s rich tradition.”

TAUBERBISCHOFSHEIM, GERMANY – Weinig AG recently expanded its board of directors with the appointment of Wolfgang Poschl. Poschl served as a process engineer for many years at the mechanical engineering company Werner & Pfleiderer then was appointed managing director of Coperion with international responsibilities.
