HANNOVER, Germany - Smart factories, integrated manufacturing solutions and new panel processing technology for facilities of all sizes was out in force for the thousands of visitors in attendance at LIGNA, the world's largest woodworking show. Stretched across more than 1.4 million net square feet, and featuring displays by more than 1,500 companies, the biennial LIGNA runs through May 31 at the Fairgrounds in Hannover, Germany.
A sneak peek at some of the new woodworking technology and innovations on display at LIGNA 2019 was given to more than 60 journalists from 25 countries at a special event hosted by show organizer Deutsche Messe. LIGNA, the woodworking industry's largest trade show, played host to 93,000 visitors and more than 1,500 exhibitors, including 900 from abroad. The biennial event showcased a range of innovative machinery, tools and solutions, with displays spanning across almost 1.4 million square feet of net space at the fairgrounds in Hannover, Germany.
