Ken Corbin, owner of PMK Systems, goes over the features of his company's machine displayed at the 2011 Woodworking Machinery & Supply Expo(WMS)  in Toronto.

The machine, a finalist in the 2010 IWF Challengers Award competition, is capable of chip-free coping or end matching of square or profiled parts without the need for a back-up piece or chip breaker. It features a pair of counter rotating spindles, each 1-1/4-inch diameter rotating at 7,000 rpm. The maximum cutter diameter is 5-in OD and minimum cutter diameter is 3-1/2 inches. The cycle time is five to 10 seconds per part.

The PMK machine was displayed in Normand Machine's booth at WMS. PMK Systems' main office is in Knoxville, TN.
