Castaly Machine offers a variety of planer sanders, including the WS-NA600 24-75 in. featuring a knife planer head, followed by a combination drum and platen head at the second station.  Automatic elevation of the conveyor table is done with a micro-computer controlled with digital readout that accurately displays the position of the conveyor table and automatically moves to the correct setting thickness for planing and sanding. Changing of the knife inserts can be easily done without removing the cutterhead. Anti-kickback fingers, mounted at the infeed of the machine, provide a safety guard for the operator, and the machine also brakes automatically in case insufficient working air pressure occurs. The pressure roller runs in a single direction, giving an additional safety guard for panel kickback.
