ETemplate Systems' new 3D surface analysis tool allows companies to analyze surface flatness by identifying the high point on the surface while also labelling all other data points with deviations from the identified high point. The 3D data used in the analysis can be collected by using ETemplate’s ELaser systems or any other data collection technology such as cloud scanners and can be combined from several measuring technologies. The analysis can be performed on a CAD model that is created in the measure process, or from a CAD model that is imported into the software.
