Produced from 100% recycled and recovered wood fibers, Uniboard’s MDF panels are eco-friendly. They are carbon neutral because the fiber particles encapsulate CO2 that would otherwise remain in the atmosphere.
The company says its MDF's "secret component" is Black Spruce Fiber. The wood species is known for its strength and homogeneous texture, which contributes to the quality of MDF panels. Black spruce fibers provide uniformity in panel density and texture, beneficial for manufacturing high-quality finished products.
In addition to its strength, black spruce is also prized for its lightness, which facilitates handling during production and transport. This unique combination of lightness and strength allows for the creation of durable yet versatile MDF boards, ideal for a wide range of applications in construction and design.
