Kings Mountain International (KMI) designs and produces new press plates for the laminating industry. Because of the importance of texture, haptic and design to laminate producers,  KMI has developed precision engineered Quality Controlled (QC) high-pressure hardened stainless steel plates for decorative laminates and Quality Controlled Plate (QCP) low-pressure hardened stainless steel plates for laminating wood products. KMI also refurbishes, reglosses and reconditions press plates and press platens.
