FS Tool has introduced its Constant line of pre-milling cutters which feature removable, replaceable cutting inserts allowing operators to replace only those cutting edges that are worn or damaged, on the spot. The company says the replaceable inserts are less expensive and contribute to reduced machine down-time. The cutting inserts are engineered to sit precisely within the insert seats, so that dust does not gather behind the cutting edge. FS Tool supplies a torque wrench pre-set to 100 in-lbs. to ensure that cutting inserts are tightened to the correct degree every time. The company says its pre-milling cutters provide consistent, high-quality cuts; have no balancing issues; and require zero offsets, taking the guesswork out of edgebanding.
