MORTISE-JOINT BLADE
The latest addition to the Duraline blade family, according to the manufacturer, delivers clean, reliable mortise and tenon joints, in just two easy steps. The first is making horizontal cross-cuts to create splinter-free scoring marks all around. Step two is to mount the piece on a tenoning jig and then make vertical cheek cuts to remove excess wood. The blade is said to deliver accurate, repeatable results and works with most types of tenoning jigs. (800) 733-7111, ForrestBlades.com.
