Hitachi Power Tools announced its new Lifetime Lithium Ion tool warranty. Hitachi says the warranty is retroactive to August 2006 and customers who purchased applicable cordless lithium ion tools before the lifetime warranty announcement will automatically be covered and not required to register or re-register their tools.
