The FB 740S bandsaw from Felder features the "X-Roll" sliding table saw that the company says offers great cutting heights, large support surfaces, and variable cutting speeds. It features a 10-hp motor with a maximum power of 11 kW and has a 620mm cutting height and sliding table lengths from 1550 to 3700mm. The FB 740S also features variable cutting speeds, bandsaw blade lubrication, and many other system solutions.

Available from Pro Edge Technology, the Elev8 CNC edge and dowel machine provides 8mm bore and dowel insertion plus true 3-axis CNC edge routing. This enables the complete manufacture of Shaker-style doors, louvered doors, Soss hinges, water or glue dowel insertion, and much more. The CNC edge routing capability enables the machining of both the edge and bottom of panels. Elev8 also provides open-architecture parametric programming capabilities.

The SNX CoilHub from SNX Technologies is an edgebanding heater and storage system for straight-line and contour edgebanders. The heater keeps the banding at the appropriate temperature and softens the banding, making it more pliable. According to the company, the heater increases adhesion, decreases delamination issues, allows a cleaner guillotine cut and lessens the chance of chipping when trimming.

The R Series lasers are offered with an open, ergonomic design, bed sizes up to 51.1" x 35.4", and 100W DC of laser power, allowing users to cut and engrave a range of materials. ACMOS 100-5030 from Acmos Inc. is a silicone-free release agent for edgeband machine spray systems. According to the company, it is non-flammable and is economical in consumption, simplifying transportation and storage.

IMA Schelling says the Novimat Compact R3 offers professional edge processing on an industrial scale. The optional Zero laser offers zero glue lines for an optimal finished product, the company adds. Coiled materials also can be applied with glue such as EVA or PUR. Automated for user-friendly, one-person operation, the machine includes units for grooving or smoothing operations.

SNX has introduced a high-performance non-filled EVA hotmelt glue for straight-line and contour edgebanders. The non-filled XE195-220c clear glue will give a user much better adhesion with an invisible glue line. With no clay fill to burn, the gue can have an operating temperature of up to 220 degrees Celsius. The glue is available in a 2 lb. sample size, 5-gallon pail, 44 lb. bag and by the pallet.

Taurus Craco introduces the Fimal P350NX Sliding Table Saw's sliding system adopted on the carriage, with large diameter bearings that roll along tempered and ground prismatic tracks, providing excellent smoothness and straight cutting. The tracks are fixed to the carriage and to the sub-carriage by mechanical pressure, avoiding any risk of glue losing its adhesion through age.
