Flexsteel introduces Chevron line

Fire damage to Canadian shop estimated at more than $600,000

SCOTLAND, Ont., -- A Dec. 20 fire to a woodworking shop caused more than $600,000 in damages, according to the Brantford Expositor newspaper.  Geoff Hayman, fire chief of the Brant County fire department, said portions of the building were on fire when they arrived and they were on scene for about six hours. There is heavy damage to the structure, which contained industrial machinery and material. There were no injuries reported.

Lifter series for large wall cabinets

The Kinvaro Series of lifter systems from Grass America includes parallel lifters, bi-fold lifters, lift-up systems, and drop-down systems. The Kinvaro L-80 Parallel Lifter system opens a single door that moves in parallel to the cabinet. The F-20 Bi-fold Lifter system moves two horizontal doors together in a smooth action to offer maximum access to the cabinet’s interior. The T-series of lifters (T-57, T-65, T-71, T-76) opens a single door, pivoting the door to the top of the wall cabinet, and features soft-close and a stay-put feature. The D Flap System is a drop-down flap system that offers an integrated damping system to provide a gentle opening that rests at 90 degrees with the assistance of the Grass Tiomos Flap hinge.
