Viking Arm and Stanley Black & Decker reportedly resolve patent dispute

Stanley Black & Decker reportedly settled a patent dispute it had with Norway-based Viking Arm involving Viking Arm’s construction jack patents and Stanley Black & Decker’s Stanley Fatmax Tradelift, DeWalt Construction Jack and Irwin Quick-Lift. As part of the settlement, Stanley Black & Decker reportedly has signed a license agreement with Viking Arm.

HPL woodgrain collection for large-scale veneer layouts

Wilsonart’s Woodgrains collection has been expanded to include 16 no-repeat plain sliced bookmatched woodgrain designs. The HPL collection is crafted to recreate real wood veneer. Each sheet features uninterrupted patterns across its full 5’x12’ or 4’x8’ dimensions, ensuring a seamless look for large-scale veneer layouts like wall panels, interior doors and tabletops. The designs are available in four maple looks, four cherry designs, four walnut designs, and four white oak looks.

Tip-over restraint kits recalled

California-based importer American Bolt and Screw has recalled about 12,890 tip-over restraint kits distributed with clothing storage units manufactured by Canyon Furniture due to tip-over and entrapment hazards and risk of serious injury or death. The furniture was sold exclusively at Rooms to Go.
