Jeld-Wen plans to permanently close its door plant in Chiloquin, Oregon, resulting in 128 job losses. The plant, which manufactures custom doors and frames, will cease operations and production will be moved to other Jeld-Wen facilities. The closure is expected to be completed by the end of the year, with layoffs commencing in late June.

U.S. Department of Agriculture has announced a $23 million in grants to support transporting hazardous fuels – such as dead or downed trees – from national forests to processing facilities.
