Cabinet makers association hit the road

A near record turnout of more than 270 attendees, including 51 first-timers and 13 new member companies, attended the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association's Fall Conference held this year in downtown Fort Wayne, Indiana.

Mitchell Gold + Bob Williams goes into Chapter 7 liquidation

North Carolina furniture chain Mitchell Golrd + Bob Williams converted its Chapter 11 bankruptcy to a Chapter 7 liquidation Friday after a ruling by the U.S. Bankruptcy Court of Delaware.  Judge Laurie Selber Silverstein said the conversarion to Chapter 7 was in the best interest of the debtors, their estates, creditors and all other interested parties.

Cabinet makers take newcomer under their wing

Sharing knowledge was one of the keystones between the more than 250 members of the Kitchen Cabinet Manufacturers Association attending the 2023 Fall Conference held in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. The conference's record attendance was replete with large cabinet makers, components suppliers, and more. Among the crowd were those from Japan and Germany, new members, and first-time attendees.
