Available from Combilift, the 65,000-pound capacity electro-hydraulically powered Combi-CLL provides quick and efficient loading of softwood and hardwood logs for export or transport. Logs can be individually lifted and pre-loaded into the high-sided metal tub before the patented push-pull mechanism powers the tub into the container. The hydraulic dropdown hatch closes and locks into position before the tub retracts, allowing the logs to settle within the container.

Electromechanical component maker wins gold for sustainability

The RAFI Group, developers of electromechanical components and systems for human-machine interaction, won a gold medal for its outstanding commitment to sustainability and corporate social responsibility (CSR). In 2024, the assessment agency EcoVadis evaluated the Germany-based company, which has U.S. offices in Lynnwood, Washington, and presented it with the gold medal. According to the company, the award represents that RAFI has been ranked in the top five percent of companies evaluated by EcoVadis.

Post stripping marks after sanding

I’m refinishing a 1962 table and chairs, the chairs are birch with solid maple seats. I chemically stripped the chair legs and rough sanded all of the vacuum and mop dings out of the legs. I used lacquer thinner to check for any marks that I missed but I’m still getting marks or discoloration and I can’t keep removing material as it will change leg diameter. Any hacks to get these(photo) out? TIA
