RANCHO DOMINGUEZ, Calif. — West Wood Products has acquired Decorative Panels International, reportedly the largest producer of wall panels in North America. DPI will now operate under the West Wood Products umbrella.

Announced July 8, terms of the acquisition were not disclosed. West Wood Products said its acquisition of DPI diversifies the company's offerings and expands its market reach. Headquartered in Rancho Dominguez, California, West Wood Products is a large producer of panels and components for cabinetry, furniture, retail fixtures and other products.

"Acquiring DPI is a significant milestone for West Wood Products," said Golan Levy, CEO of West Wood Products. "This acquisition not only expands our product line but also aligns with our vision to lead in sustainable and innovative wood product solutions. DPI’s reputation for excellence complements our mission to deliver superior products to our customers."

The addition of DPI's facility in Toledo brings the number of factories operated by West Wood Products to four, with locations in California, Texas, South Carolina, and now Ohio. West Wood Products also has nine rollcoat finishing lines across these plants, giving it the largest rollcoat finishing capacity in North America, the company said.
