Lumber distributor acquires Automated Products Inc.

API, a nearly 60-year-old manufacturer of roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and floor panels, was acquired by US LBM.

MADISON, W — US LBM, a distributor of specialty building materials in the United States, has acquired Automated Products Inc. (API) a manufis.acturer and supplier of structural building components located in Wisconsin.

Over the last eight years, US LBM has acquired more than 60 companies. Some notable acquisitions include Foxworth-Galbraith Lumber Company, ZyTech Building Systems, and Ridout Lumber Companies. These acquisitions have significantly expanded US LBM's reach and market presence across various regions in the United States

Founded in 1964, API manufactures roof trusses, floor trusses, wall panels, and floor panels for commercial and residential builders throughout Wisconsin and the Minnesota-St. Paul metropolitan area from its state-of-the-art facility in Marshfield, Wis. Sean Kelly, and John Dees will continue to lead API's day-to-day operations.
