WARROAD, Minn. – Marvin, a manufacturer of windows, doors and related building products, appointed Robert Conchola as director of operations for its new $76 million manufacturing plant being constructed in Kansas City, Kan.
Conchola will oversee the daily operations for the 400,000-square-foot facility scheduled to begin production in 2025. Marvin said the operation is expected to create 600 new jobs by 2028. The plant will fabricate and assemble fiberglass windows and doors.
Conchola brings more than 25 years of manufacturing experience to Marvin, most recently having served as a plant manager for Advanced Drainage Systems. Born and raised in Kansas City, he brings a personal connection to the community.
“Robert's passion for manufacturing and his commitment to excellence are an ideal alignment with Marvin’s core values and we look forward to his leadership as Marvin begins to operate in the region,” said Marvin President Darrin Peterson. “Robert’s extensive experience and connection to Kansas City are great assets for Marvin and our new facility."
Marvin provided an update of construction activities of the new plant. The company said
much of the concrete floor has been poured, vertical walls will soon be raised, and underground utilities are well underway.
