Crack/Fissure in New Table Top

Hi! I purchased a tabletop from a shop and installed a set of standing desk legs to it. I fear I may have not left enough room for growth of the wood and this lead to a crack forming in one of the pieces making up the top. My question is how to best deal with the crack? I do like the look of it, mild weathering fits the rest of the aesthetic, but I’m worried the crack may grow or lead to moisture intrusion that damages other regions of the table. Is there a good way to seal or protect the crack? Any help you can provide would be greatly appreciated!
