SENJA, Norway – This cabin designed by Bjørnådal Arkitektstudio -- surrounded by majestic mountains and magical fjords in northern Norway -- is anything but rustic as attested by its $2.7 million price tag.

The exterior wood façade of the cabin was painted dark gray to blend in with the environment. The interior woodwork was chosen to give a feeling of being part of nature. Included are walls covered with pine boards, oak floors and a 45x45 wooden slated ceiling. The large family-sized wood dining table is situated next to a series of windows to take advantage of the stunning panoramic view of the mountains.
