Showplace Cabinetry partners with FinishMatch

HARRISBURG, S.D. — Showplace Cabinetry is partnering with FinishMatch, an AI tool used to transform how customers shop for cabinets, leveraging computer vision technology to help homeowners and designers instantly identify their preferred finish. This integration will allow Showplace customers to upload an inspiration photo—from sources like Pinterest, Instagram, or their own camera roll— and instantly receive a curated set of Showplace cabinet finishes that best curates their vision.

FinishMatch uses artificial intelligence to help customers further along their purchasing journey by matching customer photos to a website catalog. The tool reduces the time and effort spent on manual color matching, removing the guesswork from finishes and stains, and enhancing the quality of cabinetry projects.

“In today’s uncertain economic climate, reducing friction in the buying journey is more important than ever,” said Corbin Clay, founder of FinishMatch. “We built our software to make product discovery feel intuitive, not overwhelming. This partnership with Showplace brings that vision to life.”

By integrating FinishMatch technology directly onto its website, Showplace is offering a more personalized, digitally-enabled experience, helping customers feel confident at every step.

“Our website's goal is to make the shopping experience feel fun and effortless amidst all the choices we offer,” said Hannah Gebauer, director of Marketing of Showplace. “FinishMatch helps customers take the guesswork out of finish selection, and provides a match much earlier in their decision cycle.”

The FinishMatch-powered experience will be available to Showplace customers nationwide starting in Q3 2025.
