BALTIC, Ohio – Schlabach Wood Design's custom cabinetry will be center stage when the Ohio-based manufacturer hosts a grand reopening of its expanded 2,300-square-foot showroom and design center on Oct. 3-4.
The newly designed showroom is part of an overall facility expansion, which also included additions to the preinstallation, shipping, drafting and engineering departments, bringing the total square footage of the company's campus to 63,000 square feet. Schlabach Wood Design offers a complete design and build experience, supporting both new construction and remodeling projects.
Founded in 1994 by Willis Schlabach, and now led by sons CEO Michael Schlabach and COO Lindsey Schlabach, the company serves builders, remodelers, and designers through its trade program, and homeowners directly. The company is ranked #242 on the FDMC 300, a listing of the largest wood products manufacturers in North America, based on sales.

Featured in the showroom is a wide range of cabinetry, from full kitchens to home built-in units for closets, home offices, mudrooms and other areas. The company said the products hightlight Schlabach Wood Design’s three-pronged approach. “We run towards hard work, not away from it; we select quality, durable materials, and we utilize technology and craftsmanship in harmony.," Schlabach said.

The showroom design was developed in collaboration with interior designers Sheila Miller of Alive by Design and Stefanie Mast of Eden House, with construction led by Reuben Burkholder of Barrs General Construction.
