The global pet furniture market size was valued at $3.8 billion in 2022 and is projected to grow from $4 billion in 2023 to $6.09 billion by 2030, exhibiting a CAGR of 6.14% during the forecast period. Increasing disposable income and consumer spending on pets drives market growth.

According to a Fortune Business Insights report, disposable income and pets being treated like family members, are two reasons for the growth projected in this industry.

As the industry grows, high-profile names have entered the pet furniture market. One of the latest is a popular reality TV team of Nate Berkus and Jeremiah Brent. The designers, which goes by the name of Nate + Jeremiah, recently launched a new furniture collection for pet-care retailer, PetSmart.

The Nate + Jeremiah for PetSmart collection includes wooden furniture, vegan leather couches, marble-inspired food and water bowls, and modern pet dens. The new line, PetSmart says, enables cats, dogs, and their parents to live more comfortably and stylishly, together.

The pet furniture market is projected to reach $6 billion by 2030.

"Pet parents want to incorporate their pets into every part of their lives, and their living spaces are no exception," says Kristin Shane, chief merchandising officer at PetSmart. "The expanded Nate + Jeremiah collection for cats and dogs delivers on pet parents' desire for products that integrate seamlessly into their home design, at an affordable price point. These items are so unique and beautiful – we've found the right balance of our expertise in pet care on what products were missing from the category and what fabrics will hold up for these pets, and the design vision from Nate and Jeremiah to help elevate any space in a pet parents' home."

With color and textures inspired by nature and drawing on French and midcentury designs, the expanded dog and cat collection features elevated pieces that can be layered seamlessly into a wide range of decor styles.
