HOUSTON, Texas — The Detering Company, a Houston-based, family-owned distributor of building materials, has expanded its Multi-Family Division to include lumber, roof and floor trusses, and engineered wood components, adding to its existing offering of millwork, doors, hardware and windows. This expansion, first reported by LMC, is led by David Pogue, vice president of Detering Multi-family, who brings decades of experience serving multi-family developers and contractors across the state of Texas.

“We’re not just adding products, we’re adding continuity and expertise. This expansion allows our team to partner with customers on their tailored needs, whether it’s analyzing commodity risk, eliminating inefficiencies, or ensuring every project stays on schedule from start to finish,” said Pogue.

In addition to The Detering Company’s millwork, doors, windows, and lumber, additional brands include South Texas Brick & Stone, a supplier of brick, stone, and masonry products. Together, the companies offers a full spectrum of building solutions rooted in decades of expertise and a shared commitment to excellent service.
