Contract furniture manufacturer Gunlocke, recently completed a $75,000 makeover of Crisis Nursery, winner of its Grand Prize $75,000 “Office Needs for Good Deeds" contest.

The makeover includes Gunlocke’s casegood line, Silea.

Located in Urbana, IL, Crisis Nursery is an organization dedicated to the prevention of child abuse through the provision of emergency intervention and support to families in crisis. Crisis Nursery was one of 116 non-profit organizations that submitted pictures of its offices along with a written description of its work within the community and how an office makeover would positively impact its ability to better serve the community.

Additional sponsors and products of the Gunlocke “Office Needs for Good Deeds” online contest included Johnsonite Space's modular resilient flooring and wall base; Luxo Terea's task lighting and Loft's uplighting, as well as Pratt & Lambert Accolade acrylic latex interior coatings.
