GDANSK, Poland — The Felder Group will sponsor the eighth biennial EuroSkills competition as a Gold Partner. The competition will take place from September 5 through September 8 in Gdansk], Poland. 

The EuroSkills competition will include 600 young professionals under the age of 25 from 32 different countries. They will compete against each other in 43 professions for the title of “European Champion.” About 100,000 attendees are expected for this year’s competition, the Felder Group said. 

The Felder Group will provide woodworking machines from Austria for the “Skills Carpentry and Cabinetmakers” competition. The company’s mechanical engineering specialist contributed machines to competitions at global, international and national levels, including two past EuroSkills competitions. 

The Felder Group announced that it provided a wide range of different machines for carpentry competitions at the European Vocational Championships, which favored its selection as a Gold Partner.
