Custom woodworker launches veneer panel division
SmithMade

SHELBY TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Custom woodworking and marquetry specialist SmithMade has expanded its portfolio and now offers veneer panels in addition to tables, flooring, architectural millwork, and bespoke furniture.

Company co-founder Shayn Smith said customer requests stemming from supply chain issues led the Shelby Township, Michigan-based company to launch its veneered panel division. "Since the pandemic, we have had a lot of clients ask us to produce standard book or slip matched panels because of supply chain [disruptions], labor shortages, and logistics costs. We have filled a need for these clients," Smith said.
