BOISE, Idaho — Boise Cascade Company has announced two executive leadership promotions. Angella Broesch was promoted to senior vice president of human resources. Chris Forrey was promoted to senior vice president of finance and investor relations. Both promotions are effective February 9, 2026.

Broesch joined Boise Cascade in 2013 and was promoted to director of internal audit shortly after that. In late 2020, Broesch moved to human resources and accepted the newly created role of director of total rewards. She continued progressing in other leadership roles in human resources before becoming vice president of human resources in February 2024. Broesch earned a bachelor’s degree in business with an accounting emphasis from the University of Idaho. She currently serves on two boards, the University of Idaho Foundation and the Learning Lab.

Chris Forrey was promoted to senior vice president of finance and investor relations.

Forrey joined Boise Cascade in 2005 and has held a series of progressive leadership roles on the finance team. Prior to being named vice president in May 2024, he was the senior director of finance. Forrey earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting and a master’s degree in taxation, both from Boise State University. He is a certified public accountant and currently serves on the Board of Directors for the United Way of Treasure Valley.

“These promotions recognize the outstanding leadership and performance Angella and Forrey bring to their respective roles every day,” said Nate Jorgensen, CEO. “Their influence reaches across our organization, and their promotions reflect the positive impact they have and the trust they have earned as leaders of our Company.”

“Angella and Chris consistently deliver high-quality results, live our Values, and contribute meaningfully to our Company’s success,” said Jeff Strom, COO and CEO-elect. “I am grateful for their contributions to our organization and excited to see them recognized through these promotions.”
