Blum, Inc. achieved ISO 14001 (Environmental Management Systems) and ISO 50001 (Energy Management Systems) certification, which the company says reinforces its "long-standing commitment to responsible operations, energy efficiency and continuous improvement."

ISO 14001 and ISO 50001 are internationally recognized standards that require organizations to implement structured, audited systems to manage environmental impact and energy performance. Certification is awarded following a comprehensive third-party audit process.

“These certifications formally validate the systems we have in place to manage environmental responsibility and energy efficiency across our operations,” said Shannon Lafferty, CEO. “They reflect how we operate every day and our focus on disciplined processes, measurable goals, and long-term improvement.”

The ISO 14001 certification confirms that Blum Inc. has established effective environmental management practices designed to reduce environmental impact, ensure regulatory compliance and drive ongoing performance improvements. ISO 50001 certification recognizes the company’s structured approach to monitoring, managing and improving energy use and efficiency.

For customers and partners, these certifications provide additional confidence that Blum’s products and services are supported by independently verified management systems – not only meeting international standards but requiring continuous review and improvement over time, said Lafferty.

“ISO certification is not a one-time achievement,” he said. “It requires ongoing accountability, measurement, and third-party audits. These standards align closely with how we view operational excellence and responsible manufacturing.”

Blum will continue to build on these certifications as part of its broader commitment to efficiency, reliability, and responsible business practices, Lafferty added.
