Andritz to supply MDF line to Oregon-based wood company

The new line features a 24” plug screw feeder to provide dewatering efficiency.

DILLARD, Ore. - Andritz, an international technology group, will supply a complete fiber preparation line for medium density fiberboard production to Roseburg Forest Products, a family-owned wood company. The line will be supplied to Roseburg Forest Products, a family-owned wood company.

The line will be supplied to Roseburg Forest Products’ new mill in Dillard, Oregon. The company announced that this investment is part of its program to upgrade and expand manufacturing operations.

“Superior fiber properties are crucial to manufacture technically advanced medium density fiberboard products,” said Jim Salchenberg, the director of engineering and construction of Roseburg Forest Products. “We are convinced that the well-proven refining technology from Andrtiz will meet our expectations and look forward to a successful partnership.”

The new line features a 24” plug screw feeder to provide dewatering efficiency, ensuring low consumption of electrical and thermal energy, Andrtiz announced.
