New Safety Manager for Canyon Creek Cabinet Company

Monroe, WA – Canyon Creek Cabinet Company is pleased to announce the addition of Christian Stjern as its new safety manager. Christian will be responsible for communicating, implementing and monitoring the company’s safety policies and procedures to prevent accidents, and to create protection policies for employees. In his new role, he will also conduct monthly safety committee meetings that include all plant management to review the safety metrics and plan for ongoing improvement.

New Safety Manager for Canyon Creek Cabinet CompanyPrior to Canyon Creek, Christian held three different safety-related positions for construction, pulp and paper and petrochemical companies. He also holds two Bachelor of Science degrees in Industrial Engineering and Safety and Health Management, and has accomplished post-baccalaureate work in Cellular Molecular Biology. Three years ago, Christian also started a non-profit animal rehabilitation and rescue business that is still going strong. According to Christian, “In the short time I’ve been at Canyon Creek, I can see proof of their proactive safety culture and safe work environment. I’m very excited to be here and to take it to the next level!”
