The Bluewater Wood Alliance in partnership with the Conestoga College are providing skills enhancement, specifically for experienced Spray Finishers for its member companies as well as other interested woodworking companies.

The Conestoga College is delivering the course, using the state-of-the-art spray simulator, some might have seen at the recent tradeshow in Toronto. The first part of the training is delivered on April 24, 2014 in Walkerton in a class room setting. This includes a bit of theory and training on the simulator with individual reviews and suggestions on how to spray more effectively.

Companies can sign-on also to part 2 and bring the instructor from the Conestoga College in-house and train their entire finishing staff in one day on technics and methods to spray more effectively. Additionally the instructor monitors and evaluated the current finishing set-up and the current performance.
