Presidents and political Leaders from Canada, France, United Kingdom, Germany, Japan, Italy, the United States, as well as the European Union, recently gathered in Canada to discuss pressing issues.
And, while discussing these topics, the leaders pulled up chairs and conducted business at a massive conference table created by Teknion.
The 2025 G7 Leaders’ Summit was held in Kananaskis, Alberta, from June 15 to 17, 2025. From international peace and security to global economic stability and growth, to the digital transition, today’s global challenges and opportunities require us to work together to find shared solutions.
The Group of Seven (G7) is an informal grouping of seven of the world’s advanced economies and the European Union. Its members meet annually at the G7 Summit to discuss global economic and geopolitical issues.
In Teknion's recent LinkedIn post, the company revealed the secret that it had been keeping in the run-up to the Summit.
"We’ve been keeping a secret," the company said. "While it was Canada’s honor to host the G7, it was Teknion’s honor to be asked to create the custom table for the primary Outreach room. The artisans in our Calgary Solutions facility provided a piece of art that held its own in a room full of extraordinary people."
