Creating both realistic positive and negative 3D tactile effects, Cefla's J-Print TD prints at resolutions up to 400 dpi and speeds up to 164 ft./min. The J-Print TD with 'my Texture Technology' is a 2018 IWF Challengers finalist.

Ideal for printing embossed-in-register (EIR) products, the company says it can be used in applications such as flat doors, flat panels, drawers, sidings, wood and wood-based components, and plastic components.

Implementing the gray-scale drop-on-demand (DOD) technology, in which printer heads apply up to eight droplets of ink per dot as standard supply, it can be configured from one standard position up to a maximum of two positions while its graphics software enables it to print high definition gray-scale images with high-quality heads.

According to the company, the J-Print TD reduces the frequency of cleaning cycles by using a system which circulates the ink through the print heads. The specially-designed ink reservoirs, and automatic control of all critical parameters including temperature, flow, and circuit pressure ensure optimal ink management.
