See a new lumber marketplace at IWF

COLUMBIA, Tenn. — Lumber Marketplace (LM), a platform for buying and selling wholesale hardwood lumber, will be showcasing its online hardwood lumber marketplace in booth C655 at the International Woodworking Fair (IWF) held August 6 – 9, 2024, in Atlanta.

Lumber Marketplace was established in 2020 with a simple idea: to create an online marketplace tailored to hardwood lumber professionals. With a commitment to tradition and a vision for the future, "we strive to be the trusted bridge that connects lumber sellers and buyers, enhancing their capacity to be profitable for generations to come," said Anthony Gallegos, director of operations at Lumber Marketplace.

The platform costs nothing to go and use, he said. "It's truly an all-in-one marketplace. A buyer of wholesale hardwood lumber can go and find and connect with new sellers that have inventory that they're looking for. They can be very specific. Freight and payments and chats and communications and everything is all built into the platform.

"We're just getting started here and we're really excited about what we're doing and how we can truly serve this industry for the better on both the buyer and the seller side," he said. "We'll be at IWF in Atlanta, So come see us, we can't wait to meet you."

In addition, Lumber Marketplace is actively hiring, and looking to expand its team to support its growing platform. "At Lumber Marketplace we believe in hiring people who challenge preconceived notions and push the boundaries of innovation on a daily basis. Join our mission to provide opportunities for millions of hard-working men and women in the lumber industry. Our unique two-sided marketplace matches buyers with sellers, making transactions smoother, faster, and more transparent. If you're ready to take on the world of the lumber industry, we'd love to hear from you."
