HOLLAND, Mich. — Heller Furniture, a modern design brand known for its range of indoor-outdoor furniture and accessories, has joined commercial furniture manufacturer Haworth, #7 on the FDMC 300 list.
With a shared vision of design excellence, this partnership builds on Heller’s position in the design industry by continuing the current Heller retail distribution and adding Haworth’s global platform and channels. The acquisition underscores Haworth’s ongoing commitment to brand stewardship and long-term growth.
John Edelman, previously President & CEO, will continue to provide design leadership as Creative Director, while Heller’s current Chief Operating Officer, Andrew McPhee, will assume the executive role of General Manager with an expanded scope of responsibilities.
McPhee says, “Over the past several years, Heller has seen significant growth and renewed momentum, reintroducing iconic pieces, launching new products we’re proud of and earning industry recognition. For our next growth phase, we sought a partner to expand our reach globally while preserving our essence. Haworth brings the global platform, operational strength and shared design respect to scale thoughtfully.”
As Heller enters this new chapter, Franco Bianchi, president & CEO of Haworth commented, “With our combined efforts and John’s creative vision, we can put Heller where it deserves to be. We want lovers of Heller to know the brand is in good hands as Haworth will focus on providing the resources needed to grow and flourish.”
Edelman added, “The Heller brand is dramatically ahead of its business. Joining Haworth, with a history of elevating brands, will allow Heller to reach new heights and fulfill its mission to bring accessible modern design to the world.”
