DENVER — Moovia, a German manufacturer specializing in media furniture, is set to debut at the upcoming CEDIA Expo 2024, a residential technology show. The expo takes place from September 4th to 7th at the Colorado Convention Center. The brand will be featured in Sound Room 3 and Seymour-Screen Excellence Sound Room 4, showcasing its media seating options.

Unlike standard AV seating, which often focuses on basic comfort and functionality, Moovia’s approach allows for a much broader range of possibilities in design and technology. Each piece is crafted to meet the specific needs and desires of the client, offering a level of customization that extends beyond mere aesthetic choices.

“With our bespoke services, nothing is impossible. When we say bespoke, we not only mean that our clients can choose the armrest size, stitching color, or type of leather they like best. We mean they can create the exact viewing experience they’re looking for, wherever or whatever that might be,” says Frank Dlugos, managing director of Moovia. “Supersizing seats, experimenting with uncharted technologies, or tailoring our furniture to the organic lines of a luxury yacht, for example. We can do anything the client wants.”

Clients can benefit from 2D and 3D drawings of their seating layout and configuration, CAD integrations for home theater rooms, and mock-ups of the chosen furniture setup.

Additionally, the company provides technical support for the preparation, installation, and management of home theater spaces, along with photorealistic renderings of the entire area. This suite of services ensures that every detail aligns with the client’s vision, contributing to a fully tailored media environment.

At the CEDIA Expo, Moovia will present its LYON media sofa in ASCENDO Sound Room 3. The LYON sofa is described by Moovia's in-house designer, Dorottya Flóra Nagy, as being inspired by the "enchanting landscapes of the French countryside." The modular design of the LYON sofa allows it to adapt to spaces of any size, making it a versatile option for various room configurations.
