Woodworking Network is soliciting nominations for the 2018 Wood Industry 40 Under 40 award program. This annual award recognizes the achievements of rising superstars in the North American wood products industry. Nominations can be submitted through June 22 at http://bit.ly/submitunder40.

Who's the ideal nominee? A 40 Under 40 candidate is someone who's made a difference — through innovation, motivation or inspiration —by impacting a project, product, process or company personnel.  Candidates for the third annual 40 Under 40 include individuals in all job levels and areas: sales, marketing, design, programming, manufacturing, management or other areas of the workplace.

We're looking for people who are contributing to their organization, or to the woodworking industry as a whole, in areas such as:
•   Productivity
•   Profitability
•  Social Good (locally, or globally)
•  Ingenuity
•  Innovation
•  Peer Inspiration
•  Product Development
•  Organizational Leadership
or other facet of the wood manufacturing industry.

Nominating is free. Candidates must be involved in the woodworking industry and age 40 or younger by Dec. 31, 2018.  The 2018 40 Under 40 Award program is sponsored by the Wood Machinery Manufacturers of America (WMMA).

Winners will be selected by Woodworking Network’s editorial team. Along with being featured in the special October Leadership edition of  FDMC magazine, winners attending IWF in Atlanta will receive free registration to one of the following Aug. 21 Woodworking Network symposiums on Closets, Finishing, CNC or Leadership. They will also be recognized at a special Leadership Forum Reception on Aug. 21, along with members of the 2016 class and 2017 class of 40 Under 40 award recipients.
