Historically SIBO has been Quebec's most important woodworking event. Due to a variety of issues, including economic and COVID related, SIBO has not been held since 2010. The over-due reboot of SIBO is supported by dozens of exhibiting companies, including Normand, Holytek and Castaly on the equipment side and Blum, Richelieu and Rocheleau on the supply side. The show has also received support from numerous association and organizations, most notably AWMAC Quebec and INOVEM at the College of Victoriaville.

Many products will be getting their first Canadian public showing at SIBO 2022 including the Altendorf HandGuard sliding table saw from Normand; Blum's MERIVOBOX; the Lamello cordless Zeta P2 buiscuit joiner from JJS and many more.

Free SIBO Live Conference
Each of the educational sessions, including daily keynotes, will be presented at the SIBO Live stage right on the show floor, making it convenient for interested attendees and exhibitors to attend.

Topics include a the relationship of labor market trends and the adoption of Industry 4.0 in Quebec, robot-made cabinetry, water-based finishing, choosing a CNC machine, and an explanation of key updates to North American-wide architectural woodwork standards.
