DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec – INOVEM, a college centre for technology transfer for the cabinet and woodworking industries, will exhibit at Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO), Oct. 27-29, at the Centrexpo Cogeco.

INOVEM's mission is to stimulate innovation and the development of manufacturing companies using wood and related materials, particularly in the furniture, cabinetmaking and building sectors, while promoting the ecological and digital transition.

The only applied research center dedicated to secondary wood processing, INOVEM offers support, training, technical support and applied research services. It is in a neutral role that INOVEM remains on the lookout for new technologies, all sectors of origin combined. INOVEM aims to reduce the risks of adaptation and to accelerate technological integrations in the factory in partnership, sometimes with manufacturers, sometimes with suppliers of products and services.

Inovem Victoriaville College

The expertise developed by INOVEM is transferred to companies as much as to suppliers in order to allow the sector to benefit from its impartiality. INOVEM offers technology integration potential assessment services as well as adaptation work along five axes covering the value chain of value-added products in wood and related materials:

  • Materials and resources of the future
  • Sustainable finishing processes
  • Industry 4.0
  • Digital design technologies
  • Customer experience technologies

INOVEM will be at booth #321 with exclusive offers on selected services. For additional information, contact the business development manager Ludivine Cauchon [email protected][email protected]; phone 819-302-3305. Learn more at inovem.ca.
