DRUMMONDVILLE, Quebec – JJS Canada/siaAbrasives Canada, in partnership with Ferrobotics, will present robotic solutions for sanding operations at Salon Industriel du Bois Ouvré (SIBO), Oct. 27-29 at the Centrexpo Cogeco.
The company will also display new siasponge blocks and the new cordless Lamello Zeta P biscuit joiner.
Experts from siaAbrasives Canada will be on hand at SIBO to answer all abrasives, applications, and other sanding related questions. Attendees can learn more about JJS FerRobotics Compliant Robot Technology. JJS Canada is the exclusive Canadian distributor of Ferrobotics robotic grinding, sanding, polishing, and deburring equipment, plus cobot application kits.

Woodworkers attending the show will be encouraged to sample the new soft siasponge block, which can be used to sand any material. Because of its reduced hardness, the siasponge block adapts to rebates, edges and profiles and ensures uniform pressure distribution without losing its edge stability. These versatile sponges are color coded for easy identification and also available in various grit types to suit the right application with the right siasponge.

The Lamello Zeta P-System for biscuit joinery is now available in a cordless model. The efficient, simple and accurate joining system for panels offers quick joining functionality with ready-to-use cordless power without having to connect to an outlet. JJS Canada technical experts will conduct live demos of the new Lamello Zeta P-System on all three days of SIBO. JJS is the exclusive importer for all Lamello products in Canada, including Cabineo CNC joining technology. Both systems are designed for the solid wood and panel processing industry and can be used to join workpieces at any level of production.
