GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — ProWood, a manufacturer of pressure-treated lumber products, will bring a full lineup of contractor-led demonstrations to JLC Live 2026, March 27–28 in Providence, Rhode Island. The ProWood Demo Stage (booth 441) will feature five unique sessions over two days focused on framing techniques, build planning, precision inlays, and social media strategies for deck builders. In addition, visitors will get an up-close look at ProWood’s newest product, TrueFrame Joist, through live demos and interactive experiences.
“Our sessions at JLC LIVE highlight the framing techniques and job-site decisions that shape how decks perform over time,” said Ashley Vanderwall, brand marketing manager at ProWood. “Builders will get an up-close look at TrueFrame Joist—part of a new category of enhanced treated lumber designed for greater consistency and durability below the deck—and learn how it supports those framing approaches.”
ProWood programming at JLC Live includes:
- One Deck, Three Ways: A Case Study in Framing Techniques, presented by ProWood Ambassadors Sean Collinsgru and Catherine Lippincott of Premier Outdoor Living. The session compares three framing approaches used on the same deck project. (10 a.m. Friday, March 27)
- The Pre-Planned Build Process: How High-End Outdoor Projects Actually Succeed, presented by ProWood Ambassador Jonathan Moeller of Colorado Custom Covers and Decks. The session outlines a preconstruction system designed to reduce change orders and protect margin. (11 a.m. Friday, March 27)
- Precision Inlays: Framing and Blocking for Custom Deck Designs, presented by ProWood Ambassador Sean Collinsgru of Premier Outdoor Living. The session focuses on layout planning and substructure preparation for flawless inlays. (1 p.m. Friday, March 27)
- Understanding TrueFrame Joist: Consistency You Can Build On, a product knowledge session designed to help builders evaluate how TrueFrame Joist fits into their projects. (2 p.m. Friday, March 27, and 10 a.m. Saturday, March 28)
- Showcasing Your Work: Social Media Strategies for Deck Builders, an open discussion with pro deck builders about creating compelling project content, highlighting craftsmanship, and using social media to generate profitable leads. (11 a.m. Saturday, March 28)
Visitors to booth 441 can also take part in the TrueFrame Level Slide Challenge, an interactive activation designed to showcase the product’s consistency. Level Slide Challenge participants have a chance to win a 48-inch Promes Carpenter Square.
JLC Live attendees can also speak with ProWood experts and learn more about TrueFrame Joist and other products at the ProWood booth (Booth 442).
