CeflaLive in-person & virtual finishing event set for June
Cefla Live

CHARLOTTE, North Carolina - Pre-registration is available for CeflaLive Charlotte, North America's largest live demonstration event dedicated to the finishing professional. Scheduled for June 7-11, the in-person event includes live demonstrations, a private exhibition and webinar opportunities.

Participants can pre-register for the event at info.ceflafinishing.com/en/ceflalivecharlotte.

“Our goal is to help businesses of any size understand that automated finishing technologies are within reach. The event will demonstrate just how easy, affordable and accessible surface automation can be,” stated Massimo Di Russo, Cefla North America’s managing director.

The CeflaLive event will enable users to see the benefits of flatline finishing automation including:

Reduced labor requirements
In regions where labor shortages plague shops of all sizes, automation can reduce the need for manual intervention of most production processes. As an example, Prima, Cefla's most compact spray machine and a first step in automation, requires as little as one person to operate its infeed and outfeed areas. Plus, the machine's computer interface is extremely easy to use and understand – further reducing the need for a highly-skilled workforce.

Better transfer efficiency with less spent coating
Coating expenses are notoriously one of the largest overhead expenses in a woodworking shop. When compared to manual spraying, flatline finishing solutions can increase the transfer efficiency from 25-30% to 65% on average. Machines are designed for optimized spray trajectory, air flow, and filtration so paint is laid down onto parts and not into the surrounding air.

Webinars will be held Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday, June 7-9, from 9:00 am-12:00 pm EST.

On June 9-11 will be an open house at Cefla's state-of-the-art finishing lab in Charlotte, North Carolina. Attendees will see firsthand Cefla's flatline finishing technology in action, including the application of primer and stains on shaker cabinets demonstrating zero shadows, fast color changes, and accurate paint mixing using a 2K system. Water-based primer, water-based UV, and solvent-based catalyzed coatings will be used in demonstrations. In addition to Cefla's expert staff, pump, gun and coating suppliers will also be in attendance to answer questions.

The event is part of the CeflaLiveGlobal Finishing TechWeek, during which all Cefla Finishing labs – in Italy, Germany, the United States, and China – will run live demonstrations simultaneously.  For more information visit the Cefla Finishing website.
