For my second IWF, I began the day before the show opened as a panelist on the Woodworking Inventors Symposium. The most surprising benefit to the symposium was the interaction and the back-and-forth with other shop owners.
This was my second time attending IWF, which made the overall experience much more approachable and relaxed. I went to visit select vendors to ask questions and discuss specific issues, making a large show more approachable.
Woodworking companies tell me that they get great results from their drawing packages, but they have to draw the projects before the software can estimate the job.
